Over the years I have experimented with many things in my kitchen — different spices, recipes, cooking methods and food ideas. This time the experiment is about something much more personal: my own health.
I have decided to follow a plant-based diet for the next 120 days to observe what impact it has on my body and overall wellbeing.
Starting point:
• Weight: 96 kg
• Goal: Lose 10 kg
• Condition: Type 2 Diabetes
This is not a trend or a challenge. It is simply an experiment to understand how food affects my body.
As a chef who spends most of his life around food, the best way for me to learn is by experiencing it myself.
During these 120 days I will focus on a few clear goals:
1️⃣ Reduce my weight
2️⃣ Move from diabetic towards pre-diabetic levels
3️⃣ Improve sleep and energy levels
4️⃣ Observe how a plant-based diet affects my body
Every day I will make one post on the Chilli Farms page showing:
• Photos of what I ate that day
• Any exercise I did
• How I felt physically and mentally
This journey is not about telling others what they should eat, and it is not about changing the direction of Chilli Farms Curry Shop. It is simply a personal health experiment for me to learn more about how my body responds to food.
