Pan fry, air fry, barbecue, oven, tandoor

 

INGREDIENTS

20 ml oil (prefer mustard oil)

200 g Greek yoghurt Brown’s

20 g ginger paste

20 g garlic paste

20 ml lemon juice

1 sachet Chilli farms tandoori spice mix

 

Garlic free

  • Do not add garlic.

 

NOTE

1.Please be aware Chilli Farm's spice mix sachet includes salt.

2.The brands mentioned above are used for testing the recipe. You are welcome to use your preferred brands. Please note the outcome can potentially vary based on the choice of ingredients.

 

MARINADE VS MEAT/VEG QUANTITIES

Amount of protein or vegetables you require may vary on cut size. As a guide 100 ml of marinade is good enough for ½ chicken thin strips, 150 ml of marinade for 1 kg chicken drum sticks. Make the marinade at once and freeze the surplus.

 

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS 

1.Gather all ingredients.

2.Add ginger and garlic to a blender with little water as required to blend a smooth paste.

3.Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix it thoroughly.

4.Marinate your protein or vegetables and keep in the fridge for a minimum of 8 hours.

5.Then you can pan fry, air fry, tandoor, oven or barbecue as you preferred. Cooking

time varies based on the dice size and the type of protein.

 

SPICE MIX INGREDIENTS

Dry fenugreek leaves, salt, black salt, chilli powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, food colour. Medium and hot versions include Kashmiri chilli powder.
